Used these to complete the Bamburgh and Edinburgh 100. Got them out about 30 miles in when my knee started to give me grief, honestly couldn’t have completed it without.
Easy to deploy and put away, the grips are comfy once the wrist straps are adjusted. The wrist strap adjustment is a bit fiddly, so spend some time dialling that in.
They’re a bit on the weighty side so would recommend getting a waist belt for them.
I used the standard foot with the metal spike, did a great job on all terrains.
I’ve not used more expensive or lighter ones, but for a novice that wasn’t sure if I needed poles these were perfect! That being said, I shall use these for my next Ultra, what ever that may be.

Nice neat piece of essential kit, very small when packed . Will hopefully never have to use this but a must for any event or hiker

Great quality and with the longer straw, you can spring whole in the move really easy with that rat race great Glen pack as it fits perfect through the top loops on the front of the pack . Remember to store in the freezer when not in use to stop mould buildup.
