TrailMed Zenith Adventure Poles – Aluminium
Not every trail is forgiving. Some demand something sturdier — something that won’t quit when the ground turns rough. The TrailMed Zenith Aluminium Poles are built from high-grade aluminium, offering a hard-wearing, dependable feel without slowing you down.
A smart Z-link folding design means fast deployment and an impressively short pack length, slipping neatly into a vest, pack, or kit bag. The ergonomic grip and adjustable wrist straps give steady control, whether you’re grinding up alpine climbs or floating down fast trails.
Snow baskets, mud baskets, and removable tips come as standard, making these poles as adaptable as the landscapes they’re made for. For runners, fastpackers, and mountain wanderers, they’re not just poles, they’re a trusted part of the journey.

Used these to complete the Bamburgh and Edinburgh 100. Got them out about 30 miles in when my knee started to give me grief, honestly couldn’t have completed it without.
Easy to deploy and put away, the grips are comfy once the wrist straps are adjusted. The wrist strap adjustment is a bit fiddly, so spend some time dialling that in.
They’re a bit on the weighty side so would recommend getting a waist belt for them.
I used the standard foot with the metal spike, did a great job on all terrains.
I’ve not used more expensive or lighter ones, but for a novice that wasn’t sure if I needed poles these were perfect! That being said, I shall use these for my next Ultra, what ever that may be.
Haven’t used them yet on a run/walk but they are easy to assemble and very handy to pack in their own bag
Now these are good. They fold up and then away quickly, the grip is comfortable and the adjustability is great.
Only negative is the overall weight of the pack, when all the door adaptors are included it’s a fair weight to carry in your back pack. This is easily resolved by removing the ones not needed.
