Designed for long-distance racing and mountain trail adventures, it combines premium materials with a highly considered storage layout for effortless organisation on the move.
Constructed from premium stretch fabrics with a breathable mesh body, the vest maximises airflow to reduce heat build-up while maintaining a close, secure fit. An adjustable two-point chest fastening allows the fit to be tailored to your preference, and with four body sizes available, every runner can achieve a comfortable, stable fit over any distance.
The rear storage system pairs a large stretch compartment with a secure zipped pocket, allowing essential equipment to remain protected while keeping frequently used items close to hand. Horizontal pole carriers provide fast, stable running pole storage without interrupting your stride.
Across the front, two full-length zipped pockets offer secure storage for large smartphones and valuables, while dual flask sleeves accommodate two 500ml soft flasks, secured with elastic retainers for a stable, bounce-free carry. The vest is also reservoir compatible, featuring an internal hydration sleeve and integrated chest hose loop.
Stretch side pockets expand to carry additional nutrition and essentials, while a dedicated shoulder pocket is ideally positioned for race trackers required during endurance events.

Measure around the widest part of your chest, keeping the tape measure level and comfortably snug.
Between sizes? We recommend choosing the larger size, particularly if you plan to wear the pack over additional layers.

I'm a five foot nothing, 60-odd kilo, Aussie lady and I love this trail vest. Ordinarily I am a size 10-12, usually a ladies Medium here in Australia.
I purchased a Large trail vest as the measurements matched the most closely with my existing Salomon 12L Unisex XS pack.
The pack is longer from shoulders to lower back than the Salomon and it would have been nice to know that length (although let's be honest, I'd have purchased one anyway).
The side and front pockets are a similar layout to my existing pack but the side pockets are a little smaller - I have had to rethink what I keep in those pockets now.
I have worn the vest for up to 5 hours on the trails and so far no chafing. It feels a little odd to have my lower back/upper glutes being 'brushed' by the bottom of my vest/hydration bladder, but it's not a deal breaker.
I have no regrets buying this vest. I'd probably try a Medium if I bought another one.
An exceptionally well-designed running vest with the perfect layout of pockets and zippers. I absolutely love it. Now, just add an optional quiver for trekking poles, and it would be the ultimate all-in-one solution.
Love this, so comfy, light and fits alot in it.
A decent vest, not worn it yet but felt comfortable when I tried it on. Pole loops to the rear and lots of zipped pockets which I really like. Dropped one star as not quite so keen on the front fastening and adjustment. I currently use a Great Glen pack which I find much easier to fasten and adjust. However, to be fair, that is just my personal preference.
Without doubt the best running vest I’ve ever owned! Fantastic product, has everything you could ask for - light weight, super comfortable, sits high whilst still having absolutely oodles of storage space. So many secure pockets and places to stow gear and snacks. So easy to retrieve and re-stow poles and there’s clearly been a huge amount of thought and attention to detail put into the design. Top quality product, absolutely love it, thank you Rat Race! 100% would recommend!
